Tropical Storm Fay continues to just meander around the space coast. Currently she is stationary in the Atlantic.
At 800 PM EDT…0000 UTC…the center of Tropical Storm Fay was
located just off the East Coast of central Florida near latitude
29.0 north…longitude 80.3 west about 45 miles…75 km…
east-southeast of Daytona Beach Florida.

Fay has been nearly stationary during the past few hours…but a
slow motion toward the northwest is forecast to begin tonight…
with a turn toward the west-northwest on Thursday. On this
track…Fay is forecast to move very slowly across northern Florida
on Thursday and Friday.

This means that Citrus County will proabably get some pretty good winds and some rain throughout the next couple of days. At this time there is no annoucement about any school closings. If this changes we will post any information that we receive as soon as we can.
