The Taste of Citrus is coming to Citrus county on October 26th and we now have a list of the restaurants that will be participating.  There are several different types of restaurants that are participating going from your every day type such as Pizza Hut to fine dining such as Plantation Inn & Golf Resort.

For the casual diners you have;

Well as I had mentioned in an earlier post some of the schools are offering an option for a fast pass for orientation night so you don’t have to wait in a long line the night of orientation. There is a catch to that though. Read the rest…

Well in case you are like me and don’t usually get a newspaper I have posted the dates and times for most schools in Citrus County that are offering orientation and meet your teacher night.   I do know that some of these schools are offering early check in so there won’t be a long line the night of orientation.  Please check with your child’s school to see if that option is available to you.

Central Ridge Elementary:  PreK through 5th, Thursday August 14th from 4:30pm – 6:30pm.

*Citrus Springs Elementary:  PreK through 5th, Thursday August 14th 4:00pm – 6:00pm.

*Crystal River Primary:  All Grades Thursday August 14th 3:00 – 6:00pm.

*Floral City Elementary:  PreK and 1st through 5th Friday August 15th 10:00am – noon.  Kindergarten 9:30am – 11:00am

*Forest Ridge Elementary:  PreK and Kindergarten Thursday August 14th, 2:30pm.  1st through 5th Thursday August 14th 4:30pm – 5:30pm.

*Hernando Elementary:  PreK and Kindergarten Thursday August 14th 3pm.  Grades 1st through 5th Thursday August 14th 4:00pm – 6:00pm.

Citrus High School:  Freshman and new student orientation. Friday August 15th 8:30am – noon. (students only)

Crystal River High School:  Freshman and new student orientation. Tuesday August 12th 8:00am – noon. (students only)  Thursday August 14th 5:00pm – 7:00pm.  (freshman student and parents)

Lecanto  High School:  Freshman and new student orientation. Thursday August 14th 4:30pm – 6:30pm.

Academy of Environmental Science:  New student orientation Thursday August 14th 6:00pm.  CFCC Lecanto Campus multipurpose room.

CREST:  Meet your teacher/orientation. Thursday August 14th 2:00pm – 6:00pm.

Renaissance Center:  Open house Thursday August 14th 1:00pm – 4:00pm.

*Denotes schools that are also offering extended day care registration on that day.
